Posted 6 years agoWe have a 1960's 100m2 house on concrete piles. We have 2 lots of pile work which require re-levelling. 1. We have noticed that a corner of the house above the bathroom/laundry has slumped - likely to be caused by settlement (lack of drainage from rainwater running under this part of the house) which is noticeable. Work may require re-levelling of 3-4 piles along the outside of the house. 2. Also, we have 2-3 concrete piles that require 'jacking and packing' under our bedroom floor...

Posted 9 years agoConcrete foundation sitting on sand ( is two story bach) has a number of cracks in it. Foundation currently exposed as no floor or joists currently due to flood damage to previous wooden floor and supporting structures. Would like to know best approach to take with foundation as this influences what floor is best to install that is, concrete or wooden.
