I had this house built in 1990. About 20 years after, not too long after I had a large Kahikatea tree next to my house cut down, I noticed the floor in my dining room started creaking every time i walked over it. The roots of the tree had evidently spread under the house. I called a piling company who came and 'fixed it' for me. The creaking stopped. However, the creaking has started again.

"Steve was very professional. A day after he completed the job I texted him to let him know that I still had concerns as my floor was still creaking. Without hesitation, he returned the following day and did all that he could to fix the problem. He assured me that my foundation was safe and that I should not have any concerns about the piling underneath my house. He was honest and did all he could. I am satisfied with his work."
