We require services of someone that can box up and concrete pour around the base of the piles of our Sea Scout building. This building is in the marine environment, so working around tides is necessary. There is plenty of space to work in under the building, and concrete can be piped down from the carpark area with the truck off the road. The concrete needs reinforcing steel, which must be kept clean of salt. We have a design diagram from an engineer that must be adhered to. There are seven piles in total that need reinforcing. The address is 1 Orpheus Drive. You are welcome to go under the building and have a look. Piles to be reinforced have been marked with spray paint. If enough concrete is available, we would also like a quote to extend our boat ramp, which constitutes a reconstruction, as it was dug out in the 1980s/ This would need to be a separate quote, but may be able to be achieved at the same time. This work needs quoting in May with the quote to be valid for three months, but work will not commence until after mid July once we receive funding. You will be helping preserve a heritage building built in 1911 that is an icon of the Onehunga foreshore, and the home of Aotea Sea Scouts. You must be prepared to meet Builders Crack rules with payment of this job if you get it. Thanks.
