Lay wooden flooring on top of substrate

Property is an ex rental I am doing up to live in myself....new kitchen is going in and complete paint of whole house. Wanting to put in timber flooring in all areas except the bathroom....wanting to buy the wooden blanks I have seen for sale at Bunnings. Advice welcome as well if professional blank floor layers has any to offer . any time frame to suit worker as there is no hurry to do this job. have no idea of cost so can't put one down below....
