Laying laminate flooring

Job description

Laminate & Floating Flooring
Waikato

We are looking to lay laminate flooring throughout our entire 100m2 home in Dec/Jan. We're flexible with the time but need it done before 22 Jan 2020 at the latest. Most of the existing floor is the original chipboard but the wet areas have all been replaced with treated sheets. There are a couple of areas that will need levelling compound, the biggest area being the entire bathroom which is just over 4m2 and about a 3mm difference lower than the hallway floor. The rest of the flooring is fairly level and other than the bathroom, there is no change in floor height from room to room. We will be using a Bunnings product Hanwood 6mm Sunset Oak Hybrid Rigid Vinyl Plank with 2mm EVA foam. And I do realise it's not necessary but we would like to use underlay as well to allow for any small variances in the floor level and reduce noise. We will remove the skirting and replace ourselves. This will be done prior to the floor being laid of course. We require a quality finish otherwise we would just do it ourselves. So if we are paying for the job to be done, we expect it to be finished to a high standard, especially in places we see everyday. We'll make sure you have a cuppa whenever you want and maybe even some morning tea if my baking is edible enough.
