Kitchen flooring

Xmas/New Year's perky. 1950's cottage.Small kitchen approx 2.3 by 2.5msq needing lino/vinyl flooring removed. Pretty sure it is matai wood underneath so will sand it and polyurethane. If it isn't, would like person who removed flooring to replace with new lino/vinyl flooring (one piece, not tiles).
