Timber floor sanding, filling and refinishing

We are looking to freshen up the wooden floor in our house. The area is entranceway, dining, kitchen and hallway, my guess would be approx 30m2. We want to sand, fill the minor cracks between the boards and then have a more modern finish than the current orange.
