Sand & Polyurethane Hall & Kitchen
Job description
Required mid February. Sand & polyurethane wooden floorboards in hall and kitchen. See attached plan showing shaded areas. Hallway (carpet will be removed) = 8m2 and Kitchen (old cabinets & appliances removed) = 28m2, total 36m2. Try to match existing flooring colour in adjacent bedroom (attached picture). Need to work in with builder carrying out other alterations. Let me know if you can uplift old commercial grade vinyl in kitchen or want builder to uplift (attached picture).

Wayne was one of the few contractors available to do the job when I needed it done. I assisted with removal of the old vinyl. I wasn't happy with the finished job because the polyurethane application in the kitchen resulted in small clear spots appearing in the tinted finish. Wayne scraped back a small section of the problem area then recoated which resulted in the desired finish however after many repeated requests, Wayne didn't return to remedy the rest of the problem.
