Rebuild section of fence

We’ve recently had some old panels removed off part of our fence (approx 3m in length) leaving the posts and rails exposed. The top rail is currently about 1m high, we’d like to get a new simple pale fence built (possibly just adding to the existing structure), while increasing the height to 1.5m. You can see in the photos that the fence structure is built onto the side of a deck. At one end the post is bolted onto a cinderblock wall, and a post near the other end of this section of fence is piled into the ground. All the other posts are simply bolted to the side of the deck.
