Replace boundary fence

Remove existing untreated fencing, post and rails on both side boundaries. Remove small strip of nib.? (Maybe, open to suggestions on this) Existing fence consists of 1/2 round posts, steel pipe and whatever seemed to be handy at the time. Rebuild fence, with posts, rails and palings at 1.8 metre height. Build fence and gate between house and garage. Dispose of all old materials. Cladding - timber or iron - unsure? Open to advice and cost difference. Replace tanalised palings only on front boundary (1.5H).
