Gate/Fence to keep dog in

We would like to put up a fence and or gate in our backyard area so that our new puppy can have free access to roam outside on her own. Need to fence off from the house to the garage. We see there's probably a few ways to do this (see pic) so we are open to suggestions to make it user-friendly, practical but also fit in with the look of the property. There's also a couple of smaller fences that could be done to block off the area entirely too - currently have temporary measure in place.
