70m Simple Sheep Fence + 1 Gate

Job description

General Fencing
Nelson

Hi We need some help for our archery club range. Sheep have taken over and we're more busy with removing sheep poo then shooting arrows. This job includes a free archery session! To stop the sheep we need to run 70m (measured) of sheep fence in a straight line, from an existing cattle fence to the border of a stream. We also need one gate across our access driveway. Landowner doesn't wish posts to be concreted in. Our hope is it can be done with 2 posts only for the gate and the rest using waratahs. If situation allows we like to put in two extra posts, to hold a long tent pole each. The poles will be used to hang a sheet to catch any stray safety arrows from our Archery Battle game. These extra posts can become part of the fence. There is a short slope of ca. 2m on the right hand side where existing fencing is. After that the ground is fairly straight with some gentle ditches and elevations. Access is by foot or 4WD only. No power on site. Optional: As an extra we consider adding two more posts that need to stick 3m out of the ground on the far end of the range (not on the picture). We will hang an arrow catching net from it. Again we need to ram soil in, as preferred option is not to concrete anything in. The weight of the catching net is minor - ca. 2kg. per metre. Distance between posts is ca. 12m. A free archery session is included :) If this could be done before 8 of June or at least 15 of June that would be ace! Otherwise let us know the earliest possible date. The photo shows the fence line. Sorry Archery Battle is the only tiom we take photos that way as all the other real archery targets are down the other end. Thanks heaps! Markus from Archery Park Nelson
