acquiring and installing metal pedestrian gate

We need a pedestrian swing gate for the entrance to our garden/outdoor living area. We are wanting to limit access to our property but are not wanting a security gate. The pathway is approximately 1.82m in length and I'd like it to be 1.6-1.7m high. Our house is made of plastic cladding so the gate would need to be attached to a plastic clad pillar or it could be attached to the wooden fence next to the pillar.
