Build new and reclad existing Fences - 138m in total
Job description
I have a total length of wooden fencing work required of approximately 138 metres, and some associated low (less than 0.4m high) retaining. This is a mixture of completely new fences and recladding existing fences. As there are various neighbours involved there are effectively 5 different fencing requirements on the same site. These are: 1. Remove and dispose of existing metal fence cladding and wooden rails, replace rails reusing existing concrete posts (wherever possible), replace any posts that can not be re-used and clad with 1.8m wooden palings with a top cap. This is for 60 metres of fencing along the South and West boundaries of the property. As part of this work there is a section of this fence boundary where a low retaining wall will need to be erected as my property is lower than the neighbours adjacent driveway. 2. Build a completely new 1.8m paling fence with a top cap. The old shrub fence has been removed and there are no posts in place. This is for 33.5 meters of fencing along the North boundary of the property. 3. Remove existing cladding from 15.5m of existing paling fence on the North boundary and reclad this with 1.8m palings with a top cap so that it matches the rest of the boundary fences. 4. Build a new 9m length 1.8m paling fence with a top cap to separate the front and rear car parking areas. 5. Build a 1.8m wooden fence (style to be agreed on site, but would prefer a horizontal board style if possible) to sit on top of existing block retaining wall at the front of the property, with a return along the driveway. Total length for this fence will be 20m, with 14m probably needing to be attached to the existing concrete block wall. Timeframes: I would like this job to be started on 9 September or as soon as possible after this, and completed by 11 October. Installing the fence posts for the new fencing areas will be time critical as this will need to be timed in connection with the new concrete driveway being prepared and installed.

Excellent tradespeople, easy to deal with and they did a great job. Any minor changes / decisions were dealt with easily. I would highly recommend Robert Logan and his team and look forward to working with them again in the future.
