Wooden Fence Gates not closing- residential property

Have two gates. 1. Main gate to house. At times it has moved and can't close with the bolt. Need to be able to open fromboth sides. 2. Back gate - it has also moved and can't open. And the actual door bolt is a not suitable really. Need to be able to open from both sides. Friend thinks both gates braces/brackets are too small.
