Screening type fence on street boundary

Screening of ugly area recently exposed when trees/foliage removed to clear power lines. Approximately 12 “woman strides” length. Advice wanted re material/style/height etc. House is 1929 red brick bungalow. Screening will abut the neighbour’s paling fence as seen in photos. Apparently that is the official council boundary line - i.e several metres in from the footpath edge.IN ADDITION I would like the tradie to have a look at possible ways to conceal the wheelie bins too.......however, we may be able to put them behind the yet to be erected screening. Timeframe: optimal to have completed by Labour Weekend. Mid November at the latest. Many thanks.
