Puppy proofing gates

I'm getting a wee puppy in less than two weeks. My current gates have a gap at the bottom (ranging from 8-11cm when shut). The driveway gates need the gap as the driveway isn't flat and the bottom.of the gates hit the driveway when open. Looking for a solution to allow the gates to open and close while keeping the puppy in when shut.
