Wooden fence post repair/replacement
Job description
Two wooden garden fences posts (set into concrete), have broken off at ground level. Above ground they are sound. The concrete needs digging out, and either new posts installing, or the existing posts attached to metal fixers set into new concrete. The rear garden site is on a steep slope, on a raised border, and access to the fence is from one side only, and tricky.

A really great job. I've dealt with many contractors/workmen in the 8 years after the ChCh earthquakes, and had trouble with almost all of them. In complete contrast Schalk was brilliant - the workmanship first class. He did exactly what he said he would for the quoted price. He was also really personable and worked really hard. Thoroughly recommended. The only issue was rescheduling the date for the work because of the Xmas period but this was understandable due to staff taking leave.
