Wash my awnings

The ground floor decking is shaded by two retractable mesh awnings. The mesh fabric is easily rinsed with a hose, but we think they need to be brushed clean with detergent in water first.. It's not a lengthy task, but requires working on a ladder or scaffold, using a long- handled broom.
