Digging of a hole

I have a septic tank that needs drained. The tank was not installed correctly so the tank cover lid is 1.3 metres below the surface. The terrain is reasonably difficult and planted so it's not possible to get any machinery to the site to aid with digging. I have cleared the ground of vegetation but still require the lid to be exposed. It will need to be hand dug.
