Digging two trenches for root barrier material

Digging two trenches, 1 approx. 6 m (alongside concrete path), 1 approx 8 m (near boundary fence) as deep as possible so that we can install root barrier material. See photos - vegetation and trees, and timber garden edging will be removed beforehand. Front garden with access through gates approx 1 m wide. We assume that a walk behind motorised trencher, e.g. Ditchwitch, will be needed. Have established location of gas pipe through BeforeUdig.
