Hand digging 10cm depth trench

We need a water pipe buried in our garden. Only needs to be about 10cm deep but it’s about 20metres length. Should be fairly easy digging as the majority is already established garden. Needs to be hand dug because there are various plants and bulbs in the garden that need to be avoided.
