Job description

Telecoms & Networking
Wellington

Need cabling run from one side of the lounge, above/through the wall (picture 1), down to and then through the ducting with power lines also present (picture 2) into two spots in the lounge (The TV and PC in picture 3). In my imagination since there is 4 ports on the router there would be a four port cat6 ready wall plate inside a little cabinet above the fuse box (on the right in picture 1) that contains the router, the ONT and the cat6 ready wall plate. For now only 2 ports of the wall plate are needed so if you think its just as easy to replace the plate at a later date it could be two ports for now. Id like it to progressively upgrade my internal networking to 2.5/5/10G Ethernet so probably need cat6(a?) cables; I am willing to spend the extra on the cables for connection quality given they will be spending time next to power.
