Extractor fan in bathroom needs fixing plus an outside light needs fixing.

We have an old extractor fan that when it runs makes a terrible noise and basically needs fixing. We don't want to replace it if possible as the fan is an old round sized one and I think a new one will leave a big hole in the bathroom ceiling. We also have an outside light that I turned on when there was waterblasting happening and it exploded and smoked. A new bulb doesn't work so that needs fixing too.
