Repair Range hood Lighting Circuit

Each time I try use the light in my oven range hood the circuit breaker for the kitchen blows. Interestingly I can still use the fan but as soon as a try use the light the circuit breaker blows and both the fan and the light don't work. I need someone to fix the circuit in the range hood to avoid electrical fire and be able to use my range hood light again.
