Relocate/replace an extractor fan and install new light
Job description
I would like to : • relocate the existing fan to the ceiling above the shower box • replace the old fan with a new one Our bathroom is about 5.5sqm (2.2 x 2.5). I would like to have a single switch for both light and fan (currently there is one switch only for light and fan) and ideally, have the fan continue to run a few mins after the switch is turned off. The attached photos include the photos of the existing fan (the fan comes with the light) and the ceiling space above the shower box where I would like to have a new fan. Please also see the attached photos of the attic above the bathroom. The space in the attic is quite tight as you need to almost crawl to the place. The fan is installed in a tight space and its duct is connected to the soffit vent outside. I would like to have a new fan connected to the existing duct to the soffit vent. It will be great to know the cost of each following work so that I can decide which works I can afford to get done. • New fan/s (if you have a couple of different sizes to recommend for our bathroom size) • The option to have the fan run for a few mins after the switch is turned off • Utilise the existing lighting for the new light (If any work needs to be done) • remove the existing light fixing and install 4 new LED downlights instead. It is not urgently required but I would like to have this done before the winter comes. I am not at home on weekdays so the work needs to be done on the weekend.
