New Thermostat & check relief valves

Hi, I need a new thermostat for a low pressure cylinder. It’s a 7” 20amp thermostat that’s needed. That needs to be fitted into the cylinder located the roof space so a really tall ladder is required as I have a high stud ceiling. If possible could the relief valves be checked as water drips from the over flow as soon as the power is turned on for the cylinder and when the water is cold / not heated up.
