Upgrading the feed to Hot Water Cylinder

I have a plumber to replace the leaking hot water cylinder with a mains cylinder. He said "I also had a look at the electrics and meter board. It looks like the wiring might still be old and only suitable for a 1.5KW element. Mains Pressure Cylinders either have 2 or 3 kilowatt so I would advise that you get an electrician to check whether it's OK as is or just needs to be upgraded" Wanting a quote to upgrade the feed to the hot water cylinder please.
