Bashing out TV shelving and moving plug points

We bought a house with an old TV shelving cabinet, far too small for a modern TV. I would like the top of the TV unit (shelving) to be knocked out and the wall behind filled and left smooth. As this is a TV plug point, I will need someone who can do electrics as all the plug points will need to be moved from the wood panel onto the wall behind it.
