External Plug Not Working and Possibly Related to Switch Board switch turningOff
Job description
We have recently purchased our home and the electrical plug for our Rinnai how water system outside the house is not working. We would appreciate this to be fixed ASAP, as we are currently powering it through an extension cord. In line with this, the switch in the electric box/panel that controls the electric plugs has shut itself twice already in our first two days of moving in. We would like this to be checked. There is also one plug in one of the bedrooms that appears to be the start of possible ?burning in the plug. When we purchased the house just last week, it was mentioned prior that the house has been rewired recently and a certificate of clearance had to be obtained for the job, which we got before the settlement date.

Dave came to us on the same day I posted the job. Prompt as. I was lucky. He checked the external plug, which was not working because of an unnecessary RCD plug. He changed this to a normal dual plug, so that the "trip" will just be on the switch board. This also fixed my other electric "tripping" problem on the electric box. He checked what I thought was a burning plug, but it turns out it did not fixing as there was no burning smell, so he said just monitor it. Would recommend David A+++
