Venting to outside

We have a single-storey rental property in Kaitawa Crescent, Ppm. To pass the Healthy Homes standard, the extractor fan needs to be vented to the outside. (It currently vents into the loft.) Access to the roof space is easy and there is generally someone home during the daytime. I don't think the job would be huge and it would be good to get it done as soon as possible, for the benefit of our tenants. (The property is fully compliant in all other respects.) Thank you.
