Electricity installation - Detached garage

We have a detached garage (probably about 15m) from the main house and would like to get it wired up with a couple of power points and a light. From what I can tell the wiring would need to run from the main house. There is a basement area that can be accessed from the side of the house and a garden bed that runs along the driveway where a cable could run. On the attached picture I added an arrow on the side of the house where the basement can be accessed.
