Home electric odd jobs

Hi there, our bedroom light (dimmer) has stopped working and it doesn't seem to be the bulb. First the dimmer stopped dimming and now the light doesn't work at all. Also we have a double socket where only one plug works and an annoying buzzing dimmer switch in another room. Keen to get it all sorted at once.
