1. New bedroom circuit + switchboard protection upgrade I’m looking for a qualified electrician to install a new dedicated final sub-circuit to a bedroom, rated for 10 A in an older, 1940s home. At present, this bedroom is daisy-chained off another bedroom. The existing shared circuit is only 10 A total and already supplies a fixed heater in the other bedroom that draws close to the full 10 A. Because of this, I can’t safely run a second identical heater in the second bedroom. What I want done: - Separate the second bedroom onto its own 10 A circuit. - Replace the existing rewireable fuse carrier protecting the current bedroom circuit with an MCB or RCBO (open to your recommendation). - Protect the new bedroom circuit with an MCB or RCBO as appropriate. - Ensure all work is AS/NZS 3000 compliant. I’m expecting this to involve work in the switchboard and running a new cable to the bedroom. 2. Heater relocation (after rewiring) Once the new circuit is in place, I also need help with a heater move: - Disconnect and remove an existing wall-mounted electric heater currently installed in the corridor. - Re-install the same heater on a different plasterboard wall in the second bedroom. 3. Bathroom extractor fan fault Separately, I need: - Inspection and diagnosis of a bathroom extractor fan that has stopped working. - Repair if straightforward, or advice/quote for replacement if the unit has failed. Looking for tidy, documented work (CoC where applicable). Please get in touch with availability and an estimate (or site visit first if preferred). Photo descriptions: - picture with the shoe rack shows the heater that I want moved to a bedroom - picture with the cot shows the wall on which the heater is to be mounted - final picture shows the fuse carrier that currently protects the shared 10 A circuit
