12 volt fountain pump wiring

Job description

General Electrical
Dunedin

To connect an extension wire for 12 volt pump - the pump wire is fitted through conduit from a fountain and sealed at the fountain bowl. An extension of about 3 metres is needed to reach basement wall of house - I've created a connection point in the conduit for this. A weather-proof box needs to be installed on basement wall to house the transformer. This then needs to be wired to mains in basement, and a switch installed in the hallway above. It's not a difficult job but our usual electricians are flatout and we'd like to get this job completed sooner rather than later.

I had preprepared conduits and fountain wiring to house so all that was required was to install transformer and connect wiring to switchboard. We agree to electrician's useful suggestion of having two more electric plugs fitted in basement as there was only one. Total job took 5 hours...electrician was open to discussion on final cost and we had this reduced slightly (cost of GST as he had originally quoted prices inclusive of GST).
