Evaluation and repair

Last week, I turned on my bathroom lights, and shortly left to grab something, when the breaker flipped. After I turned the breaker back on, I found that there's a scorched mark on the bathroom light switch itself. I suspect there was a short circuit, but the light switch still works. I'm worried something might have happened to cause the event. Could I have a quote for someone to check it out and repair it, if needed?
