Spa thermostat switch repair

We have a small spa, Solano brand but similar to a HotSpring TX. It works ok, but the thermostat switch is broken so it keeps heating constantly. We have been told that it probably needs a new control board, as it is one unit and we cant get a replacement switch. The person did say an electrician might be able to repair it in the existing control board. If someone can repair it, we would also look at getting an outside power socket installed as well. Thanks
