repair smaill fitness machine

My powerfit machine is not working properly. Is there a way to fix the machine speed controller? I think the sensor is broken. It is out of warranty. If there is a way, can you tell me where to fix it and how much it costs to repair it? And I also lost my remote control when we moved house. If can I repair the machine, I'd like to buy a remote control.
