Fluroescent light and stove repair

Job description

Socket Outlets Burnside, Christchurch

Published on 23rd March 2026

I have a fluorescent strip light in my kitchen that has stopped working - I changed the tubes and that didn't fix it, and it doesn't have a starter that I can see. There is another light bulb operated by the same switch that is still working.
Also, one of the elements on my stove seems to have a broken thermostat - no matter what the dial is turned to, it goes to maximum heat.
I'm in a really busy period at work at the moment, so I'm limited when I can be home. If you had any availability either tomorrow afternoon (24 March) or anytime on Wednesday 25 March, there will be someone home then.
