Looking for an electrical safety inspection
Job description
We're looking at buying a 1920s house at auction next week (11th August). The building report has highlighted some old wiring is still present, but they have no idea if it's actually in use or not. The vendors had the switchboard upgraded in 2018, there is lots of TPS wiring visible, and the house has a new solar system. To get insurance for the mortgage, we need to make sure the house has been completely rewired, but the vendors don't have any documentation, other than the safety certificate issued with the new switchboard. We were wondering if any licensed electrical inspectors could do a visit on short notice (maybe Sunday or Monday) to tell us if the wiring in the house is safe?
