Job description

Electrical Renovations & Rewiring Grey Lynn, Auckland

Published on 15th August 2025

We have a number of jobs around the house requiring an electrician. Some are straight forward, some might need a bit more thought: -Replace two downlights in bathroom with flat LEDs. We're not fussed on the style of LED so would need this sourced for us. We just want something modern and energy efficient. One of the lights is not currently working and might have a wiring issue. -Replace three pendant lights with new ones. We have purchased the new ones, just need installing. -Replace four internal wall lights with new ones. We have purchased the new ones, just need installing (black round ones in photos). -Repair garage door button. The garage door opens using remotes, but not the switch on the wall. Unsure of issue. -Here's where it gets interesting. My wife has started making pottery and has purchased a small kiln. We want to make sure that our circuit can handle this, and if so we need to get it wired in. We have an industrial socket in the garage, I wonder if we can get the kiln wired with a plug to match it and that be what we use to run the kiln. I've attached a photo of the specs of the kiln -If we go ahead with the kiln, there is also a thermomotor that needs wiring to the probe. That's the lot!
