Garrett Electrical work This is a very small job of labour only and I am sure all the components needed for the job are here on site. I think the job is 1.5 to 3 hours only at a maximum. I have a friend who is a licensed electrical engineer but he is unwell and not available for a week or more. This job has dragged on and I want these details sorted within a few days, to advertise for borders, not wait a week or more. I have a big electrical company that I also use for substantial work, but their bills always frighten me and this seems way beneath the type of work I usually give them. I have had such wonderful success with B.C. that I thought this was worth a try. I hope there is someone out there able to help me get this project completed. I have recently had B.C. create a new bedroom in part of a large under-utilised existing room and need 2 or 3 small details completed The job is in Waikowhai, Mt Roskill South. To make this practical it needs to be done in the next few days, i.e. ASAP, this week. 1. I have a light switch that is now inconvenient to the new room and want a pull switch installed in the ceiling next to the LED light fitting, so the light can be switched on and off from within the new room. 2. I want a 15 amp cable laid in conduit along a skirting board for about 7-8 metres from an existing 4 Gand and terminating in a 2 gang, 3 pin switched wall plug unit. The new connection is not expected for heavy load. i.e, An electric blanket, or bedside lamp, etc and item 3, below. 3. I have a small 100mm HMP 14-watt exhaust vent that I want installed and wired to a plug and timer to allow for fresh air circulation if required or desired. I could easily do this myself but if an electrician is attending, then he can do it!! The correct 100mm diameter hole has already been drilled and as I said, I believe all components needed are here on site. 4. I.E. Conduit, 10 mtrs of 2.5mm cable, roof mount light pull switch, 2 gang plug and standoff box, light weight cable to extend roof fitting; HPM vent unit plus exit cover, and junction boxes etc, etc, if needed.

No problems at all. A nice guy and very competent. The job was so small that we agreed that if we reached an joint agreement on job/price etc at his viewing, then he would do it on the same visit as the viewing. It took him a bit longer than I estimated the job would take (my mistake) and therefore he charged a little more than I hoped. But we found extra work for him (his suggestion), and he did it all in the quoted price. I would have no problem in recommending him or hiring him again.
