The front door to the building is wood and reinforced glass. The wood is rotting in some places. The current door has a fixed half and a single hinged opening half. We want to replace the whole of the door and frame with an aluminium door which has half sliding open. The opening half should be on the right side looking at it from the outside of the building. This change will make it easier to take things down the short concrete steps to the outside landing and then into the inside landing to go down inside stairs. There is electric power inside at the top of the stairs. The wooden surrounds will need to be painted once the new door is installed. Car parking is available immediately outside the building but toilets may only be available if one of the owners is present during the work. The building is a late 1960's apartment of six units. It is built of poured concrete floors and dividing walls and concrete block outer walls.
