Job description: 1. Garage: the timber above the garage doors needs looked at. This is swelling and making the garage doors hard to open. It seems to be the internal piece of trim above the door and it is MDF. In the straight southerly rains, rain gets driven in the gap between the door and cladding and swells the MDF. May need replacement with a piece of pine and painted etc. 2. Yellow front door (the left door of the two yellow doors) is jamming. May need some shaving of it or the hinges recessed to give a couple of mm. 3. Door to upstairs apartment has no stopper or never had and is just touching the kitchen cabinets next to the oven. Please install a new stopper. 4. Upstairs apartment: Kitchen benchtop is delaminating. The laminate is coming off the mdf benchtop especially around the sink, tap and bottom edge, and is most likely the mdf core swelling from moisture. This will need some attention as don’t know how long the tap will last there. We wonder if its moisture from the dishwasher?
