Ranchslider repair

Opens about 15cm then jams. Older style joinery. It might just need a new roller (not sure what the correct term is). Has needed a bit of a knack to open it for a while then someone else was using it without me being around and I think that was the last straw.

Sand back and re-poly urethane wooden joinery

There are: 1 door with 2 panes (already sanded and 1 coat applied) 2 bifold doors each with 2 panes 5 opening windows 2 bifold windows 6 fixed windows The framing etc. The sections with the bifold doors are approx. 3.5 m wide x 2.1 High The single door section 1.7m wide x 2.1 high Bifold windows section 3.8m wide x 1.3m high Single window 1.1m x 1.7 high

Bathroom door stuck closed

Hi, this job is in a rental property in New Plymouth on Cameron St. The bathroom door latch seems to be jammed out and the door is stuck in the closed position. It is a timber villa door, and probably the original latch. There is scaffolding up due to some glazing being done on the property, so it can be accessed from both sides. Prefer ASAP to at least get the door open as the tenants are currently unable to access bathroom.

Window replacement

Very nice, almost brand new window in modern home but keen to have this be a window that opens to allow breeze. Thinking would like to change it to a window that half slides open with a built in screen to cover the open side. Also open to other ideas - main goal to have breeze without insects. There is a walking path just behind window so space to work. Though fence behind it in process of being built up in next couple weeks. Size of window: 235cm x 90cm

Original Wooden Front Door

Our wooden front door needs some love! It may just be new hinges required? I am not sure. The bolts that go through the hinges fall out quite often. There is a lot of dark grease on them. Every now and then, the door itself won't be able to open fully because of this. Or it is sticky. The door likely needs to be taken off, cleaned up, with new hinges replaced. I am also wanting to repaint it, before upgrading the handle and lock to an electronic one.

French doors jammed

Kia ora! Our French doors are jammed. It seems like the latches that join the two together are stuck. The lock itself is working (although the handle is now a bit askew since my partner and brother tried to fix it). Hoping it’s an easy fix!

Window leak needing repair

Found a leak from lounge window. Had a builder mate take a look at it and he removed rotten framing but need to get the job done sooner than he can do it. Needs a bit of framing replaced, some packing and jib. Needs someone to sort out window flashing as apparently that’s what’s been done wrong and caused the leak.

Invesgation to leaking ranch slider possible repair

Ranch slider is leaking at base of door, has caused wood to swell around it and now have a small lump in lounge floor from possible water. Would like advise and a quote if ranch slider needs to be removed and placed back in Ranch slider measurement are 2.4 w x 2.135 L
