Door hole and 1 cracked jamb

Open to suggestions, but end goal is to make this look brand new. I researched a little and thought of either: 1. trying to glue/fill/paint the cracks and holes, or 2. simply buying a new door and single jamb replacement. I have held on the the internal door strike plate and screws, and have the same paint used on these doors and walls already.
