Front door frame and seal

We purchased a new house and the front door of our house does't seal well. My assumption is during the earthquake the door frame became misaligned or it has just bowed so the central part of the door is hard against the seal but the top and bottom is well away that pushing from behind doesn't close the seal completely. Since it is a front door the timeframe would just include that it can be locked while we or the trades person is not there and that from the start of the work to the end of the work the trades person doesn't have another job to do.
