New door frame

My old wooden warped entrance door needs replacing and custom door quotes have come up pretty expensive, so I’m keen to buy a new standard entrance door from Bunnings at a much lower price and instead to have my old frame replaced- which has also seen better days so it’s time to go. The original door is a very unusual size (shorter and wider than standard doors) so a new frame of a slightly different size is needed. This will mean some work around the frame too, as the new door will be skinnier than original- about 70mm, an insert of wood between weatherboards and door like what is in picture is fine, it doesn’t need to look amazing. No set timeframe :)
