Fix sliding door that doesn’t close

The sliding door in lounge that opens to the back garden is stuck & am unable to close it completely. It was closed with some force and it didn’t close. When we were trying to figure out what was wrong, a small piece of plastic fell down from the top of the door, not sure if something’s broken preventing it from closing completely. Will attach pictures.
