Our home built in the 1980's has a Kent wood burner built into a brick surround which we want removed. We partially demolished the brickwork ourselves but there is a large concrete block on top which we couldn't deal with. See photos. The following works will be required: - Removal of wood burner - Demolition of remaining brickwork - Removal of flue - Repair of hole in roof (corrugated steel) - Repair of hole in ceiling (wood panelled) - Replace wallboards No wall painting at this stage, we'll be repainting the whole room later.
